Dragon Con 2008 Pictures
For those interested these are the costumes I had this year for Dragon con. The first one is an original star trek character I made up. His name is Lt. Pieter Lago. He is currently awaiting the arrival of his ship the Federation Starship, Bozeman, where he has been assigned. Notice the visors say Mark I. I hope you get the joke. Many stuck up star trek people didn't. I even had one give me a lecture on how "bunnies" are not in the federation catalogs. What a douche bag! The only Star Trek people who gave me praise was the Klingon booth. A Kiligon Female said "You're CUTE!". I even got an autogragh from George Takai. He thought it was cool, or as he put it "OH MY!!!" We had an interesting conversation in Spanish.  The Second is a group picture of us. We planned on surprising Robert Aspirin this year with seven of us dressed as characters from his series Phule's Company. Last year he saw 2, Brandy(Ann)and Thumper(Me). Unfortunatly this year he died. We still dressed up and went to a special memorial held for him on Friday night at the Con. We all wore black arm bands with Aspirin's name, Years, and a saying "He will be Myth" We took up the whole front row and sat down according to rank. Anne Maccaffry passed by me and said " Great ears!!" We freaked out Kieth R.A. who was a guest speaker. He just looked at us and said, "A rabbit, a biker, and Elvis walk into a bar..... WOW, I never thought I would ever hear that comming out of my mouth." The audience laughed. For those interested there will be one more Phule's company book comming out. It will be written by Kieth R.A.. We hope he mentions his bar joke in it. Tom gave his arm band to Lynn Abbey, and I gave mine to Anne MacCaffry the next day when she flagged Thumper down at the D*Con stores. On Saturday we were Phule's Company for the Parade. The parade people placed us behind the Space Marines. Lots of people recognized us. We even stumped the official dragon con camera man. He did not know who we were. I am making a website to promote more people to be Phule's Company characters for the parade next year. Our motto will be "We'll take you, you, and That!" Bonus points for you if you can name all seven characters.  The next costume needs no introduction. This is my most popular costume still. I have worn this costume every year we have gone. I HAVE to be adopted
Alrighty, Since my mom has been out of jail, since last july, she has been kicked out of 4 houses. First an aunt , my cousin's, my brother's, my uncle's, then back to the aunt's house again. Just got the call that on that first night there she got kicked out and all her medication was stolen and sold. We help any way we can since we don't have a house yet, but they all end up wanting more and more. She can't work because of the stoke and bypass surgery she just had 4 months ago. But to them its no excuse. I have some pretty messed up family. People wonder why I never want to be around them. I am the only one in the ENTIRE tree that does not do any sort of drugs. I am the only one that is trying to get an education and make something of myself. I, and a cousin of mine who moved to California, are the only ones that have no kids. The family thinks we are gay because we did not have kids before 20. It just gets to me how FUCKED up my family is. I have said it before and i will say it again... I HAVE TO BE ADOPTED!!!! me so far....
Well lets see.. I am still adjusting to going to school. To tell you the truth I did not think I would ever be going back. My first semester back I made 3 A's and a C. This past Semester I made 3 A's and a B. So so far so good. This Semester will be a bit tougher. I will be taking 17 hours of classes. Business Cal, Biology, Speech, Accounting, and Japanese 2. I hope I can handle it. If things go as planned I will have all my core courses done next semester and be ready to transfer to UTSA. I am still trying to lose wieght. I will NEVER get back up to 250 again. My goal so far is to hit 190 by Easter. So far I am at 206. I can't seem to get down past 200. Everytime I am close I seem to gain it back. Holidays did not help...neither is this flu I have atm. Just have to try harder I guess. Well thats it for now.. I know.. boring ;) Really Really miss my Mommy Nightshade, and my Auntie Wendy. Calling all Trekkies
In preparation for dragon con this year I am working on a few costumes. One of which will be my bunny persona mixed in with star trek. Hey, it can happen! ;) I will be "Bunny La Forge" Basically its my bunny in a star fleet uniform with "La Forge" Glasses, Prolly larger, that say Beta 1 on em with lights and stuff. Why? They had to test those glasses somehow... ;) I need to know which costume, "Generation" would go great with this idea. I am leaning toward the red "Wrath of Kahn" uniforms. I can't afford to get a D because then I would have to take it again, and then would be charged out of state tuition since it would be "strike three". Back to school
I am officially a student now. I had to through the whole registration process and clear out some stupid holds, but I will be going to school full time this coming spring semester. I will be taking economics, govt, English lit, and college algebra. I have decided to become a computer programmer like my wife and dad(in law). I figured I might as well keep the family tradition. ;) Lucky for me most of the classes I have already taken can count toward the new degree. So I already have most of the basics done. :) I will be doing the 2+2 program. Two years at sac and two years at UTSA. But i don't think it will take that long. It's gonna be weird too because I will ONLY be going to school. Ann is insisting I do not work, but bring her A's. I have been working and going to school since I was a junior in high school. Last month I ruled Iran as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). Last Sunday I committed genocide... Sorry about that, kalidascopeeyes (-5000 points). In April I broke wwinger's X-Box (-12 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-5715 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Rejected
Well after months of being tested and interviewed.. I finally go my answer from Toyota. NO Oh well... Ann and I decided on a plan B if this happened. It's back to school for me. Hopefully I can start in the upcoming spring semester. Am thinking between computer programming and engineer. Leaning toward more to programmer though. Sharing feelings.... ideas.. thoughts...
This concept is odd for me. I was raised to always keep to myself. If you knew my past you would know why. The only person I share my feelings with is Ann. And usually she has to ask "What are you thinking?" I want to get away from that. So I will start to open up little by litte. Only thing that makes me nervous is people using this against me. I still get LJ flashbacks from when I Monarchx2. Poeple would get into fights and arguments and try to justify their views with their enemy's LJ posts. I always thought that was wrong and I deceide then that LJ's were evil. But when Ann introduced me to LJ's.... I started to see that they were something else. So here I am writing my first of hopefully many LJ posts. Catch you all later. :) |
